Faults

The trees almost swallowed him up. Almost, but not quite. We chased after him. We had to catch up. I didn't want to deal with the consequences if we didn't. The problem was, this kid wanted to be captured. He really did. He just didn't have the ability to stop. It wasn't his fault. These people were driving him into their world. One he hadn't asked for, or wanted. We had to catch him. Tell him everything would be alright. But would that be a lie? I couldn't be certain. Nothing was certain anymore.
