Not Almost Over

It was back to the start and yet, it was almost over. The whole thing was nearly over. The work was halfway. Time was being used. It was almost over. But what would that mean? Just the beginning of something new. More work. More time. More hours stressed over. Where was the fun in it all? Sure you could break away from reality every once in a while, a website, some DVDs. But reality never went away. It was always a looming shadow, just waiting to dampen your day. Or brighten it, if you're lucky. Sure things might soon be easing up for two weeks... but after those two weeks it would spike again... and after those two weeks... well, who knew?
