Where To Start
He cupped his hands around the glass of water to try give him something to hang onto, to calm himself down. He shut his eyes and bowed his head, deep in thought, trying to through it all away. Impossible. Conflicting voices in his head argued all day and night, giving him no rest or silence. It was frustrating. He couldn't piece together a single coherent thought and there were some things he couldn't remember at all. Why he was here, for instance. If he could just take back that day, or just redo a few years... maybe he'd missed something vital to his life along the line. Now he had to try and fix his errors with no way of knowing where to start.

Say Hello
25 June 2010
Why didn't they say hello already? Not that it really mattered. She would just sit there all night, that was okay. Still, it would be nice to have a conversation. Stubbornness took its pride and place though. She wouldn't start it. Why should she? Nah. She wasn't bothered. It could wait for another time. Unless they surprised her. That would be nice. She liked surprises. Didn't everyone? As long as they were the pleasant ones - not the shock-of-your-life ones. They just weren't fun at all. Fun. That's what she was missing in her life this past week. Where had it trailed off to? She shouldn't lead it astray like that. She had to find it, and recapture it. Maybe then the spark would return. Maybe not. Maybe it was finally disappearing.
