He stood in the dark, staring down at her beautiful figure - so young and innocent. She looked even more innocent when she was sleeping as she was now. He let out a smile at the little girl's beauty - beauty which she would not fully understand until she was much older. She shifted slightly in her sleep, possibly dreaming about fairies or pincesses, as little girls should. She was truly his little angel, no other words could describe her. It was as if she'd been sent specifically into his life, to light his way towards some kind of direction. He sighed. He knew that would happen. To be truly honest with himself, he was scared out of his wits. And even she couldn't change that. He picked up the blanket she had half tossed off herself, and tucked her in. She didn't move a muscle, too deeply lost in an alternate reality.
"Goodnight Chloe," he whispered, "Sweet dreams."
