Oscar

I snuggled deeper into the depths of the blankets, eyes focused on the glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling, a finger massaging over the body of Oscar and entwining in his hair. She loved him. In fact, she loved all of them. Just because he was a horse didn't make him any different to all the other stuffed animals. No one was favoured over the other, because that wouldn't be fair and so she tried to alternate who she slept with. The duck, the polar bear. They were all just as loved, just as special. All with names. And they came alive.
