Golden Brown
The books lay on the left, untouched. A million papers stacked up high and scattered untidily on the right. A piece of origami above on the shelf, and papers of green and orange, pink and painted red, lined and printed sat pinned onto the cork board, teasing her and her dreams of the writing room with much bigger cork boards, and many more pieces of scrap paper. Although none of it was really scrap. It was all worth something, right? Paper was great. And we had to save trees. And plus, it smells better when its old. Brown and golden. Beautiful, really.
