Writing Sequence

It was brilliant when you got that spark of imagination, that unstoppable writing splurge where you just wrote and wrote and wrote, for once without the hesitations and writers blocks and you just wrote stuff that actually sounded good, too. The words would flow one after the other in almost perfect sequence, until the time when you would have to stop. To eat, to sleep. Then there was always that worry the spark wouldn't return again for days or weeks or months, but it was a risk you had to take, unfortunately. Hopefully it would come again tomorrow, and the day after. But there were never any promises, even to yourself.
