He Ran
He ran. Not that much further. He'd make it. That's why they hired him - because they knew he'd make it, too. He pelted further, as fast as he could, dodging the trees as they mingled with his course. Ha, they were in no man's land out here. They weren't familiar with it. He was. He knew it too well. He was quite sure they'd lost sight of him now. If they hadn't yet, they would in a minute. He wasn't going to waste time looking back to check. He was winning this race. He always did. He ran.
