Almost a year ago it had happened and now... there was no difference. I mean, of course there was a difference. They were closer. They were friends. But that was all. Would it change? Probably not. Did that matter? Maybe. Would there be complaints? No. It was fine. They'd be happy. Was happy enough? In theory, of course. In reality? A much wanted yes would be nice.
